In eastern Kenya, the people of Mdungundi village go down to the river every day to fish.

With water sometimes up to their necks, two to three people hold a net that they drag along the bank to catch passing fish.

With the droughts induced by climate change, the water in the river is drying up and fish are becoming scarcer. The fishermen of the village have to convert to agriculture or move to the city to find new economic opportunities in construction.
